Industrial UPS

Gentec uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) feature the ability to work with a battery voltage of 125 VDC, a requirement of some customers which is hard to meet by most UPS manufacturers.

The input may be single-phase or three-phase voltage, but the output is always single-phase voltage only . These on-line UPS are of the double conversion type.

The inverter section uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology to control high frequency power transistors (iGBT).

Only one series is available, the ASC SERIES.

 The system includes:

• A battery charger
• A battery (voltage of 125VDC or 250VDC)
• A very quiet inverter (DC/AC converter)
• A static switch
• A manual bypass switch to isolate the system

A microprocessor controller module ensures waveform generation (PWM), voltage synchronization and regulation even when the UPS is powering non-linear loads. In addition, it ensures UPS measurement (voltmeters, ammeters, frequency meter) and monitoring (comprehensive alarm system).

• Easy on-site system setup (alarms, automatic modes, etc.), thanks to the microprocessor controller module
• Digital meters (DC voltmeter, DC ammeter, AC voltmeter AC ammeter, frequency meter, etc.)
• Redundant UPS (master-slave) available
• Freestanding cold laminated steel cabinet, 2.6 or 3.0mm thick
