Medium Voltage Capacitors Units

Medium Voltage Capacitors Three-Phases Units have all-film dielectric and are impregnated with dielectric liquid which is now PCB. In addition each capacitor is provided with an internal discharge resistor. All capacitors have low losses and are constructed to be light in weight. The medium voltage power capacitors comply with most national and international capacitor standards. The 3-phases capacitors HVCB 25 kVAR to 300 kVAR externally fused and QYLP 50 to 400 kVAR internally fused designs are avalaible. High voltage single phase units complete with 1 or 2 bushings are also available.

Motor DriveSaver Series I & II

DriveSaver DS1000/Detuned and DS2000/Tuned Filters are used to compensate the reactive power in individual, standard-power devices or groups of motors devices affected by harmonics on medium voltage systems. A Drive Saver fixed or automatic consists of a reactor connected in series with the power capacitor unit and switched contactor for the DS1000 series II. With this construction, a resonance phenomenon between network inductance and capacitor capacitance is avoided. A fixed detuned filter is usually connected in parallel with the device, motor or the group of devices needing to be compensated. This way, the capacitor is switched on and off simultaneously with the load. If it requires to be controlled separately, a contactor (series II) can be separately installed in the case.
